After completing her Bachelor of Music Classical Voice studies at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Anna moved to Berlin, Germany. She was selected into the Academy of the Rundfunkchor Berlin, where she worked with renowned conductors Simon Halsey, Sir Simon Rattle and Daniel Barenboim. Performing in the St Matthew Passion, directed by Peter Sellers, in the Berlin Philharmonie was a significant early career highlight.

Anna completed her master’s degree in Lied, Oratorio and Concert at Universität der Künste, Berlin, with Carola Höhn. During her studies, she acquired a broad repertoire of Lied under the tutelage of Eric Schneider (Lied) and Axel Bauni (Contemporary Lied). She also attended Master Classes with Barbara Bonney and Hans-Christoph Rademann, among others.

Anna sings as a soloist and as a member of prominent choral ensembles, performing in acclaimed concert halls and venues such as the Konzerthaus Berlin, Philharmonie Berlin and the Komische Oper Berlin. Her diverse performance practice includes contemporary, early music, art song, opera, experimental music and other non-classical collaborations. She has performed at well-known music festivals, including the Brisbane Festival, the Bangalow Music Festival and Noosa alive! (Australia) and at Musikfest Stuttgart (Germany) and the Embassy Music Festival (Netherlands). She is a Lied soloist in the concert series “Vrienden van het Lied” in the Netherlands.

A recent collaboration with Australian pianist Paul Hankinson realised her passion for arranging and recording old standards. “I still have a Suitcase in Berlin” will be released this year.
